With Ammo Prices Increased, Scammers Are Cashing In! Don't Be A Victim.

It's no secret ammo prices have increased and certain ammo calibers are in a shortage. With this unfortunate truth, it appears scammers are trying to steal money from 2A enthusiasts!

There have been many fake accounts on facebook/instagram trying to coax shooters into visiting their website to purchase ammo that has pre-covid pricing.

Once you try to check out, the check out page has the option to pay with:

BITCOIN
ZELLE
APPLE PAY
PAYPAL
GOOGLE PAY

But, in order to do this, you have to message them on their little chat box which payment method you'd like and have them send the email to you!

Most wouldn't fall for this scam, but I figured I'd make a write up to warn those who may. Because these deals (in this period) are TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

Here is an example of a fake website we found:

If you find a website like this, make sure you report it to: https://www.ic3.gov/ or report it to your local authorities so no one else gets scammed!
